AAPAC
Arizona Agents Political Action Committee is a Pac that provides financial assistance to candidates for the Arizona State Legislature. This Pac is filed and approved by the State of Arizona, and is funded almost exclusively by agents/brokers and members of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Arizona. The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Arizona's Executive Committee carefully considers each request for funds, and contributes only to those candidates they feel share the same regulatory philosphies as the Association.
Every insurance professional has a lot at stake in the Arizona political process. In recent years, the insurance industry has become the political target of legislators and activists who do not care about the industry's future. AAPAC will help provide financial campaign support to those legislatures who are advocates of our industry.
You can contribute by sending in a personal check (corporate checks are not accepted) made payable to: AAPAC to the care of Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Arizona, 333 E Flower Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85012.
InsurPac
InsurPac! This is important word – more importantly – it is an ACTION and ACTIVITY that is vital to each and every independent insurance agent. InsurPac is the Political Action Committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of America. The funds are used to support those Senators and Representatives in the United States Legislature who view those issues important to the independent agent in the same way as we do.
Today our State Legislature and Congress largely govern our business. It is of the utmost importance that EACH ONE of us takes an active part in the political process on both levels by contributing our personal dollars in a collective manner in the support of those candidates who believe in our ideals.
Send your PERSONAL CHECK today made payable to InsurPac for $50 - $100 - $250 - $500 (any size contribution is acceptable). Please mail to the Independent Agents and Brokers of Arizona, 333 E Flower Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85012.
If you have any questions, or need further information on these Pacs, please contact the AAPAC and INSURPAC Chairman James Farmer at 602-264-0566 or Terri Edwards at 602-956-1851, e-mail: terri@iiabaz.com.
