Who We Are
Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado (PIIAC), a non-profit trade association, is the spokesman for the Colorado’s independent agent property and casualty segment of the insurance industry. The Association was formed on July 1, 1992, through consolidation of the Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado and the Professional Insurance Agents of Colorado. PIIAC represents more than 2,500 independent insurance agents in Colorado and affiliates with two national organizations, Independent Insurance Agents of America and National Association of Professional Insurance Agents. PIIAC membership is comprised of leaders in the insurance industry. These members guide PIIAC to complete its mission for all independent insurance agents and their customers throughout Colorado. PIIAC is a powerful front through the professionalism of its members and staff.

Nominations Open for PIIAC Awards Each year the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado (PIIAC) asks its members for nominations recognizing outstanding service to the association or to the insurance industry. As the information below indicates, we recognize individuals in several different categories. Please take a few minutes to review the various awards to be presented at the 2009 PIIAC Annual Awards and Recognition Luncheon on Thursday, October 8, at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.
