The Association was formed on July 1, 1992, through consolidation of the Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado and the Professional Insurance Agents of Colorado. PIIAC represents more than 2,500 independent insurance agents in Colorado and affiliates with the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America.
