FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What do I do if I fail the exam?
You may re-take the exam during the next scheduled AAI class.  There is a $30 fee for each retake.
Do I have to take the classes in order (81A, then 81B, then 81C, then 82A and so on)?
No, you do not have to take the classes in any particular order. There is no requirement that you take 81 before 82, or A before B, for example. Each module is self contained, so you'll be able to take them in any order.
If I've taken one of the segments before, do I have to take it again?
No, if you've already passed any of the AAI tests anytime in the past, you don't have to take the test again. We do encourage attendance at all 9 classes, since some material may have changed and you'll get CE anyway. But, for example, if you already took AAI81, then you don't need any of our three AAI81 classes. You'll still need all of the AAI82 classes and all of the AAI83 classes. This works for any part of the series you've already passed.
If I've got other designations can I waive part of AAI?
If you hold the IIABA Certificate in General Insurance (INS), have completed CPCU 2, 3, and 4, or hold the CIC designation, the AAI 81A, B, and C exam requirements are waived.  In addition, if you have completed ACSR Modules 1-5 and 10-11, the AAI 81B exam requirement is waived. The exam requirement for AAI 82A is waived upon completion of ACSR Modules 4-9.
