Genesee General Young Agents Scholarship:

Long-time Diamond Partner, Genesee General, has supported the association, its Young Agents Committee, and their careers for as long as we can remember. Genesee's CEO, Roger Ware, and Assistant Vice President of Marketing, Amy Salter, announced the company will continue their tradition of providing a $1,000 scholarship for a first timer to attend the YAC Annual Conference in Amelia Island, June 6-8, 2013. The scholarship money provided by Genesee General assists a Young Agent with the expense of attending the committee's annual meeting.

Roger and Genesee General recognize the value of the leadership training Young Agents receive during this event and by being involved in the committee. "These agents will one day be the leaders of our association and our industry. We are simply investing in our industry's future," as Roger has stated for many years. In order to be considered for this scholarship, first time YAC attendees should write a paragraph on why they should be considered for the scholarship. Paragraphs can be submitted to Stacie King at sking@iiag.org. The deadline for all scholarship applicants is May 31, 2013. The winner will be announced prior to the YAC elections at the Young Agents Annual Convention on Friday, June 7^th at 11:30am.

2nd Annual Young Agents Silent Auction to benefit Ga InVEST!
The Young Agents Committee is pleased to be hosting their Second Annual Silent Auction at Annual Conference benefiting Georgia InVEST! Last year the Silent Auction was a great success, as well as a great time for everyone participating. We are now accepting donations for the auction, would you consider donating an item? Last year we saw all kinds of exciting donations, so be creative! The Ed Parker Young Agents AAI Scholarship

Young Agents are eligible to receive a $1500 scholarship for the AAI program. The applications will be accepted now through February 1, 2014 and the scholarship will be awarded at the YAC Sales & Leadership Conference in February of 2014 (need not be present to win). The scholarship recipient will have two years to attend all required sessions of the program.
