Spotlight on Giuliani’s Political Clout

Rudy Giuliani is admired, well respected and universally known, according to fellow politicians and political analysts quoted in the June 23 issue of The Hill. The article, "GOP centrists promote Giuliani," by Geoff Earle, discusses Giuliani’s reputation and possible presidential bid.

"He makes an impression just by walking in a room," says Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.). "He’s America’s mayor. I would never rule out Rudy Giuliani accomplishing anything he set out to do."

Pollster John Zogby says "Giuliani is known internationally… known as the mayor of New York, and the hero of New York."

According to the article, Giuliani’s connection with the American public as is an "overwhelming association with strong leadership provided during the difficult days after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, when Giuliani’s press conferences were as much a fixture on television as Bush’s."

Rep. John Sweeney (R-N.Y.), called Giuliani an icon. "He represents the resilience of the nation," he says. "He represents the kind of bold leadership that can turn the most desperate situations around."

Don’t miss your chance to see political star Rudy Giuliani in action. Giuliani will speak on leadership at the Big "I" Convention, taking place Sept. 10 through 12 at the Hilton New York. Giuliani will be the keynote speaker at the convention’s Sept. 12 closing session.
