Since June of 2004, there have been 27 consecutive months of growth in flood policies in force---and as of August 2006, there are 5,322,176 flood policies in force, according to FloodSmart. Equally impressive are the results of the agent referral program. On average, an agent participating in the program has received more than 500 referrals or listings to date. Click here to learn how to participate in the referral program or agent co-op program. Even without FloodSmart referrals, it’s possible to write flood business through the national association with the Big "I" Flood ProgramSM. Quote requests can be done at www.bigimarkets.com or by faxing Selective Insurance the flood risk information form. Agents can use Big "I" MarketsSM or the Selective direct option, which provides quotes immediately at  Flood-On-Line® after the flood-only contract and other paperwork are completed. For more information, visit www.independentagent.com/flood.

Big “I” Career CenterSM Adds Features

The  Big “I” Career CenterSM has added two new features to its employer arsenal. Agents can now choose from two featured employer packages which allow a company and/or agency to increase its visibility on the Big “I” Career CenterSM. The GoogleTM Maps feature has also been added to all job postings. Once registered agents can search nearly 1,000 resumes and set up a resume agent feature. The feature allows agents to create an online resume agent that will e-mail qualified candidates right to their in-box daily. For more information on the center, contact Brett Sutch at brett.sutch@iiaba.net.
