Carol L. Dulle Becomes Executive VP of IIAI
The exhaustive state and national search to find the next Executive Vice-President for the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana, Inc. was a two-year process. The next Executive VP must be someone with strong not-for-profit and for-profit experience. They must understand and have association knowledge of operations, finance, and information technology, as well as planning experience. The position also requires someone that can proficiently work with a diverse group of independent agents, company partners, other industry officials and service providers. In addition, excellent writing and speaking skills are a must. This combination is hard to find.
A Perfect Fit
When the IIA of Indiana Executive Committee interviewed Carol Dulle,
they knew they had found the right person to fill a position
that demands many diversified skills.
Carol's background includes over 22 years of experience with the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents, serving most recently as their VP of Operations. In various positions with MAIA, Carol has managed human resources, financial operations, communications, marketing and educational programming/outside events. Carol has also conducted extensive consulting with many state Big "I" associations as well as agencies on information technology, financial issues and productivity.
Carol will be highly visible at IIAI events. She will also be instrumental in committee planning, in setting policy with the IIAI officers and directors, and in supervising a vast array of benefits and services.
Dulle to Assume All Operational Responsibilities
Carol will start her duties with the Big "I" on August 1, 2012 and work with Roger Ronk until February 1, 2013 in order to assure a smooth transition. At that time, Carol will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the association and its staff. She will assume all of my current job responsibilities. However, I will still be a part of the Big "I" (after the transition) in a consulting capacity. You can also expect the same great service from other staff members as no other changes are anticipated at this time.
A Perfect Ending
"I wish to thank you for your support of me during my 23 years
with the association and hope you will support Carol in the same manner."
- Roger Ronk
I have always considered those that I have had the pleasure to work with through my Big "I" duties to be my extended family. It has been a pleasure to serve you and be a part of the whirlwind changes our industry has experienced during my tenure. I also look forward to seeing many of you in the next six months as Carol and I work together to make this an easy transition.
You are going to love Carol Dulle's fresh ideas and enthusiasm. She has already demonstrated a strong ability to do whatever is necessary to meet your needs and expectations.
- Roger Ronk
