“Insurance 101 – Commercial and Personal Lines” by Sam Bennett, CIC
This seminar helps the newer agent more effectively learn the very important process of
how to read an insurance policy. Sam uses a “progressive” approach to teach that an insurance contract has a distinct beginning (the insuring agreement), a middle (definitions, coverage parts, exclusions, additional coverage) and an end (conditions). This topic will cover both personal and commercial lines of insurance.

“How to Think Like an Old Agent” by Sam Bennett, CIC
This presentation helps flatten the learning curve for the young agent. The session
includes an in-depth review of some basics including policy structure, underwriting and insuring agreements in various policies. The class wraps up with claims scenarios will be used to clarify areas of policy coverage and instances where coverage is lacking.
