| YOUNG INSURANCE PROFESSIONALS OF MN
Mission Statement
To give the Young Insurance Professional something that they can't get from normal continuing education type activities: Career Development and Professional Growth. We are doing this by facilitating networking opportunities with other young insurance professionals and insurance company personnel, groups such as the Young CPA’s, Young Bankers and Young Lawyers, and by providing specific career development seminars with topics such as Selling to Generation X and the Millennials, Agency Ownership, Agency Perpetuation, Agency Management, Best Practices, Agency Technology and through specialized insurance content classes (i.e.: surety bonding, manufacturing risks, etc.).
In addition to the above, we are also committed to the perpetuation of the Minnesota Independent Agents Association and the National Independent Agents and Brokers Association through fresh ideas and promoting future leadership within the various facets of the Associations. We actively promote and encourage participation in the Regional and National Young Agents committee’s as well as InsurPac – the IIABA’s PAC fund (see www.iiaba.net for additional information).
