We realize the importance of connecting you with your colleagues and carriers so you can make contacts and find new markets and products for your agency. The Spring Conference features more events and opportunities for networking than ever before! Our Networking Hall will be packed with a wide variety of companies who have services to help your agency - insurers, agency management & technology services, MGAs, promotional products, etc. This is your chance to get face to face with dozens of companies waiting to do business with you! We will also be giving away cash prizes to agents who are in the Networking Hall during breaks and special events. If you hear the Money Bell ring and your name is called, you could win $100! BBQ Networking Lunch with Vendors | Wednesday, February 22 / 11:30am - 1:00pm | East vs. West BBQ Getting to Know You Lunch - We'll kick off the Spring Conference with our East vs. West BBQ Lunch. Everyone has their favorite style of BBQ, but only one can be declared "the BBQ" of IIANC. And it will be up to Spring Conference attendees to decide which style reigns supreme! You'll be treated to North Carolina's two famous styles of BBQ while you network with other agents and vendors in the Networking Hall. Attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite style of BBQ. The "winner" will be announced on Thursday and highlighted at the 2012 Annual Convention. | | Networking Game - Networking at the Spring Conference is all about meeting new people, finding markets and building relationships. To help get you moving around the Networking Hall, we'll be hosting a special game with a grand prize of $500 for the lucky winners! |
Pirate Fest Big "I" Style
Table Top and Costume Contests | Wednesday, February 22 / 5:30pm - 7:30pm | The networking highlight of the conference will be our Pirate Fest. This is your time to meet with vendors, find new markets and visit with old friends while enjoying great food and our costume and table top display contests! Get ready to sail the Sea of Pirates and network Big "I" style! | | Costume Contest (for agents and company reps) - The Pirate Fest is the time to have fun...and what better way than a costume contest! Agents and company reps are asked to dress up to tie in with our pirates theme. You can use any movie, time period, character or sports team as your inspiration...as long as they are related to pirates! During the Pirates Fest, agents will vote for company reps, and company reps will vote for the best dressed agent. Winners will be announced on Thursday morning. | Agent Prize: Complimentary 2012 Annual Convention Agent Registration ($150 value) and a one night stay during the Annual Convention dates ($225 value) | Company Rep Prize: Complimentary 2012 Annual Convention Company Representative Registration ($250 value) | | Tabletop Decorating Contest (for vendors) - We encourage all exhibiting companies to show your creativity by decorating your table top to tie in with our pirates theme. Again, you can use any movie, time period, character or sports team as your inspiration...just as long as they are related to pirates! This is a great way to save your company money and attract extra attention to your table in the Networking Hall. Agents will vote for their favorite one during the Pirate Fest, and the winner will be announced on Thursday morning. Step Down Band at City Hotel and Bistro | Wednesday, February 22 / 7:30pm - Until... | 
| Immediately following the Pirate Fest, we will head next door to the City Hotel and Bistro for special entertainment by the Step Down Band. This is a great time to continue your networking in a more relaxed, social environment. You will have the opportunity to reserve tables for up to eight (8) people for $100. Breakfast Bounty | Thursday, February 23 / 8:00am - 8:45am | You'll have one last chance to make it around to all of the vendors in our Networking Hall during our "Breakfast Bounty" and drop your business card in for some great prizes! Coffee, beverages and continental breakfast will be served for all registered attendees. |
