1. CLASSROOM SETTING:
The Independent Insurance Agents of Nebraska has signed on with a pre-licensing instructor and provider to ensure your success in obtaining your insurance license.
- Packages include a text book and a website login that includes a "study by topic" section as well as your pre-licensing exam information.
- Take the pre-licensing class and get personal attention from a proven instructor!
- Materials are shipped directly to you with quick service
- Each class is three informative days that will prepare you for your licensing exam.
- Class is guaranteed! If you don't pass your producer exam - attend another class for free to pinpoint weak areas.

- Upon passing the pre-licensing exam, your completion "hours" will be uploaded into the SBS database and you are ready for the Producers Exam! (handled by Prometric, register at www.prometric.com )

Pre-Licensing Requirement
The Nebraska Department of Insurance requires that resident agent applicants must complete a Nebraska approved pre-licensing education course, from an approved provider.
• Property & Casualty – 40 hours, including 6 ethics
• Life & Annuities – 20 hours, including 6 ethics
• Sickness, Accident & Health – 20 hours, including 6 Medicare/LTC and 6 ethics
• Life & Health – 40 hours, including 6 Medicare/LTC and 6 ethics
• Title; Assessment Assn. – 12 hours each, including 6 ethics
• Crop – 6 hours, including 3 ethics
Individuals who hold the following designations, or a master’s degree in insurance, are exempt from the requirement: CPCU, CLU, RHU, CEBS, CFP, AAI, CFC. Licensing examination must be successfully completed and license application filed within one year of completion of pre-licensing education requirement. The examination is administered by Thomson Prometric at various locations throughout Nebraska. For more information – www.prometric.com.
Upon completing an approved education course and passing the course examination with a grade of at least 70%, applicants will be issued a Certificate of Completion by the course sponsor.
