Now, more than ever before, your voice needs to be heard in Washington D.C. and Lincoln!  By the fact that as an independent agent, you work and make your living in one of the most heavily regulated industries in the country, you are involved in politics.  Every year, laws are passed and regulations promulgated that impact your clients and affect you abililty to make a living.  Sitting it out is not an option for any of us.  If you are in the insurance business, you are in politics!

The reality is that even the best lobbyists and effective grassroots action can't get the job done without our ability to speak with a unified voice through our two Big "I" Political Actions Committees - InsurPac (Federal) and IIANPAC (Nebraska).  Effective lobbying and well-funded PACS go hand-in-hand.  At the end of the day, PACs are able to speak with a collective voice that is much louder than that of an individual.  Your political investment allows your presence to be felt as you stand shoulder-to-shoulder with numerous special interests - some hostile to the insurance industry.  By pooling money together, your Big "I" PACS help elect candidates who share the Big "I" business philosphy.
In the 2012 election cycle, InsurPac supported more House and Senate campaigns than ever before, and distributed $1,8432,500 along the way to 282 races, winning 236 of them for a strong 84% victory rate.  And IIANPAC had an amazing 96% victory rate, winning 23 out of 24 Unicameral races!

You can make your investment in both Big "I" PACs by joining the Big "I" Circle of Eagles.  There are three investment levels -  for less than 4 cents a day, you can be a Bronze-level supporter.  You can use check or credit card, and even choose monthly automatic credit card payments.  One key thing to note - PAC investments from corporations are prohibited by law.  Only individual (personal), partnership, and LLC investments are permissible.      .

InsurPac

InsurPac is the Political Action Committee (PAC) of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA). It represents the unified political voice of IIABA's 22,000 member agencies and 300,000 agents and brokers nationwide.  It is one of the largest property-casualty insurance industry PACs in the country, and is one of the primary reasons the Big "I" is routinely rated among the most successful lobbying groups in Washington, DC.  InsurPac raises funds for contributions to candidates for national office on behalf of independent agents.
