2008: Racing Into The Next Century
101st Annual Convention - Kearney, NE - October 21-23, 2008
The 2008 Annual convention was a "roaring" sucess with our NASCAR themed convention.  Hundreds of race fans (aka. agents) attended the convention with its chilly Big "I" Golf Tournement,  Industry Night Reception and Trade Fair,  Music and Dancing with WEST WIND at the Young Agent afterparty, the NASCAR IMAX video lounge.  See the photos and write-up for more information.

2007: The Celebration of a Century!
100th Anniversary Convention In Lincoln Draws Record Numbers
Over 600 Attend - New Officers, Directors Elected

An all-time record of over 600 Big "I" members and company representatives gathered at the Embassy Suites hotel in Lincoln October 10-12, 2007, to celebrate IIAN’s 100th anniversary year in style at the association’s 100th Annual Convention.  The convention was the culmination of a year of regional celebration events held throughout Nebraska which were attended by over 850 members, featuring a “Memory Lane” historical display, and special recognition for IIAN 50-, 75-, and 100-year member agencies, and past presidents.  “Special kudos to our 20-member 100th Anniversary steering committee, chaired by Sandy Johnson, CIC, AAI, and all of our volunteers,” commented Katie Kochenower, CIC, of Gering, who was elected and installed as IIAN’s new president during the convention. "They worked hard all year long to achieve the Board’s goal of bringing our anniversary celebration to the members.  We’re also very appreciative of all the support from our Industry Partners, convention sponsors, and exhibitors."
