The 120 member NJ State Legislature is comprised of 40 Senate members and 80 Assembly members. The Legislature meets year round, part time, in Trenton with a summer break if the schedule permits and typically holds Committee Meetings and Voting Sessions on Mondays and Thursdays.

IIABNJ reviews every bill introduced to the Legislature to determine its affect on our members, the industry, and consumers. Occasionally, the association will issue an Action Alert to notify the membership when their assistance is need to support or oppose upcoming legislation.
