Competition
Member agencies have felt the effects of increased competition from direct writers in our New Jersey personal auto marketplace. The IIABNJ Communications Work Group put together several tools for IIABNJ members. "Talking Points" sample for agency CSRs and staff to use when faced with clients who are planning to move their personal auto business to a direct writer. Several member agents have pointed out that some of the insurance being purchased over the Internet may be misleading to their clients, and several such points are included in the Talking Points.
Sample letters: Short Version / Long Version. These letters can be sent to clients who are either planning to move their business or who have already done so. Please feel free to use this language to customize your own letters.
