IIABO Committees
The strength of a trade association is its members. Without the skills and involvement of volunteer leaders an association cannot survive - let alone prosper. IIABO is no exception.
This is a challenging time for independent agents and brokers and for the IIABO. We have made progress in many important ways. Directed by capable volunteer leaders, IIABO is stronger than ever. We strive to be THE champion for independent agents and brokers in the State of Oregon. We offer more and better products and services than any other producer organization. We fight for our members' interests with aggressive, professional advocacy.
Since our members can spend only a limited amount of their valuable time in volunteer service, we are committed to making their experience as productive, satisfying and enjoyable as we possibly can. Committee Chairs:
Committee helps make policy decisions about products and services to offer to members.
Committee promotes productive dialog between carriers and agents. Coordinates the annual Agency/Company Forum.
Committee works with and assists the staff in planning and promoting the IIABO Annual Convention.
Committee assists in developing education program, selecting speakers and promoting use of IIABO continuing education.
Committee works to establish annual budget and evaluate sources of revenue for the association.
Committee helps raise funds for the IIABA national political action committee and assists in the use of those funds to promote candidates.
Committee monitors legislative activities, analyzes legislation and develops positions for the IIABO.
Committee helps promote and retain members for the association and assure member satisfaction.
