The Young Agents Committee invites all local agents to take advantage of this first time opportunity for only $15/person. Take a couple hours out of your day and attend the Cyberliability class on May 30 to receive 2 hours of P&C credits. You will also have the opportunity to network and mingle with fellow industry professionals, members of the YA Committee, Company Reps and agents.
Course Synopsis:
The purpose of this course is to explore a company’s obligations and liabilities that may result from a compromise of personally identifiable information. The course provides an explanation of what exposures a company faces in storing and maintaining personal information including potential costs, the legal and regulatory environment that may apply, explore risk analysis perspectives and risk management ideas, and discuss how insurance may or may not apply to data compromise or other internet-related exposures.

Details: IIABSC Young Agents sent a team to participate in Make-A-Wish's Walk for Wishes held Sat., April 6 in Rock Hill. IIABSC supports Make-A-Wish through a partnership with Trusted Choice, and this was a way for our Young Agents to participate and contribute.
The event not only helped raise awareness for Make-A-Wish, but the more than $2,000 proceeds went to help the more than 32 children from York, Chester and Lancaster counties who have wishes to be granted. Make-A-Wish President & CEO Russell Smith said onsite that the Piedmont area of SC has more children with ungranted wishes than any other region of the state.
Those wishes not only put a smile on a child’s face but prove to be a bright spot in the lives of everyone involved. |

Young Agents Conference
The Young Agents Conference is a relaxed, annual event that mixes fun with business. The Conference is focused entirely on Young Agents (age 40 and under) plus company representatives. Attendees can earn CE credit during sessions that are geared toward the interests of Young Agents. Programs and events are targeted for the entire family. The Young Agents Conference is a great opportunity to spend a fun weekend with the family or enjoy a relaxing get-away alone!

Young Agent Scholarship Golf Tournament
This annual fundraiser event is open to anyone - agents, companies, industry reps, and customers. Proceeds from the tournament are used to support the Young Agent Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships for various insurance programs. Since 1993, the Young Agents Committee has raised over $25,000 for the Scholarship Fund.
A fun afternoon of golf for a good cause at one of South Carolina's premiere golf courses.
*You do not have to be an Young Agent to play!
