The Virtual University (VU) is a state-of-the-art online insurance educational and informational resource program developed by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America.  VU subscribers receive a variety of benefits including unlimited access to more than 4,000 pages of timely industry information; a subscription to VUpoint, the biweekly VU e-newsletter and its fully searchable archives; as well as immediate access to a library of “white papers” on hot insurance topics.  VU's "Ask an Expert" service lets independent agents and brokers ask the industry's leading insurance experts their most pressing questions about insurance, financial services, agency management, technology and more. 

The VU is available exclusively to Big "I" agency members.  Big "I" agency members receive free, unlimited access to the VU as a member benefit and can take advantage of their free access by ensuring that each of their agency employees has received a user ID and password.  If you are a IIABSC member, and you do not have a user ID and password, contact Anita Trevino at atrevino@iiabsc.com or 803-731-9460, Ext. 29.

Non-Big "I" member (and Corporate Associate) access to VU resources requires a subscription.  Individual, non-Big "I" member subscriptions are available for a $395 annual fee.  Non-Big "I" member groups can purchase 10 or more individual subscriptions at discount pricing of 10% off each when purchased together.  Individuals from a group must purchase at the same time to be eligible for the discount.  Payments must be by individual or group credit card.
