Utah Association of Independent Insurance Agents is the Utah Chapter of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) also known as the "Big I" and the Professional Insurance Agents (PIA).  Both their headquarters are in Alexandra Virginia and offer an array of products and services to help member agencies compete in today's dynamic and ever evolving insurance marketplace.

In 1919, recognizing the need for an organization consisting of members who are independent property casualty insurance agents to work as an advocate for them and their interest, the Utah Association of Independent Insurance Agents (UAIIA) was established.

For over 90 years the UAIIA has promoted ethics and professionalism in the industry and been the unrelenting advocated  for independent agents by providing products and services to fulfill the educational, political and business needs of its members.
