CONVENTION / AWARDS COMMITTEE |
|
This committee serves as the advisory committee for establishing plans for the convention agenda, including speakers, entertainment, guest programs, sponsorships, and hotel activities. Also evaluates criteria for annual awards, reviews nominations from membership, and selects recipients. |

EDUCATION COMMITTEE |

The purpose of this committee is to ensure that IIAV provides the high quality continuing professional education programs that our membership demands. The committee will seek to identify courses and evaluate instructors. In addition the committee will review how programs are provided to the membership via in-class, correspondence, on-line and webinars. |

These agents will look at our current laws and seek ways to improve agency operations by removing old statues or introducing new ones. We will also work closely with the SCC and our company partners to maintain our positive legislative climate. |

PR / TRUSTED CHOICE TASK FORCE |

This task force is charged with enhancing the public awareness of the independent agency system as the insurance professionals of choice. Moreover the task force will work to research, identify and implement a public information program for the association to communicate the value of independent agents for the commercial and personal markets. |

ACSR COMMITTEE |

This committee is charged with finding new ways to continue to promote the respect and recognition of the ACSR designation. Those who have obtained the ACSR designation should serve as a peer group and a resource/mentor for others in the insurance industry. Our focus in creating new courses for ACSRs is to provide on-going product knowledge and professional growth in a challenging, stimulating environment. |

CAREER TRAINING & RECRUITMENT TASKFORCE |

The purpose of this task force is to brand insurance as a career option for high school and college graduates by creating resources (classroom, textbooks, and online) for new and existing individuals within the insurance industry. This task force may also be involved in the Insurance Career Institute - a school to identify and train CSRs and producers. |
