BECOMING an Independent Agent:
If you are seeking a rewarding career and want to help people at the same time, you may want to consider being an independent agent. An insurance agent is part salesperson, part advisor and often a personal friend of the customer. In fact, many people stay with the same agent their whole life. As an agent, your income is determined by the time, effort and careful thought put forth. Independent Insurance Agents enjoy professional status in their communities and are respected by their fellow citizens who often look to them for leadership in public service activities.
