In-House Education Opportunities
Question: Are you interested in helping your agents comply with their education requirements, but do not want the expense and hassle of sending them out of the office?
Answer: You should look into the In-House program at VIAA.
The basic premise of the in-house education program is that you choose the instructor and the course. This benefits you as you can have your employees attend courses on YOUR terms, as well as the added bonus of not having to pay mileage for them to travel! VIAA will take care of making all the arrangements with the instructor, getting courses approved for education credits, ordering materials, and reporting those credits.
The cost includes the instructor fees, any course approval fees, shipping & handling of materials, cost of materials, any fees VIAA may incur while processing the credits and a 20% processing fee. Please keep in mind that if your agency is not a member with VIAA the processing fee for Non-Members is 40%. Also please keep in mind that it is more cost effective to have an instructor for a whole day compared to ½ day; as they charge the same fee regardless of whether it is a whole or half day.
This is a convenient, cost effective way for your agency to custom design the continuing education program that is geared for your employees and their specific needs.

Our instructors will only make arrangements to conduct a seminar if it is in conjunction with VIAA. They will not make arrangements with an agency direct.
