Continuing Education Requirements
Resident insurance agents, brokers, and solicitors are required to complete 24 hours of approved continuing education every two years by the licensee’s renewal date. Of the 24 hours of CE, licensees need to take three hours of approved ethics education. Excess credits may not be carried over. All courses must have been completed in the 24 months preceding license renewal and may not be repeated more than once in a three year period. For additional information regarding Washington’s continuing education requirements, visit the Insurance Commissioner’s website.
