Stand-Alone Personal Umbrella
RLI has a policy which provides up to $5 million of coverage over the minimum required underlying limits and the insured is not required to carry an underlying policy with RLI. RLI enjoys a A.M. Best rating of A+ (superior). Agents/Brokers receive 15% commission for new business. Administration is handled by IIABW's subsidiary Insurance Producers Services Corp. (IPSC). Excess Coverage
If the risk doesn't fit with RLI, you can also access the Anderson & Murison (A & M) administrated Primary and Excess policies through National Casualty, a subsidiary of Nationwide, (A.M. Best rating-A). Coverage is available for up to $10 million and $20 million with special underwriting approval for special risks.
