InVEST Introduces New Board Members
ALEXANDRIA, VA-AUGUST 12, 2008—InVEST, the insurance industry’s premier business-education partnership recently announced three new members to its national board: Heather Minkler, CIC, Neal Montgomery, CPCU and Lori Siegworth.
“InVEST is pleased to have Heather, Neal and Lori join our already distinguished group of board members,” says Patrick Moore, CPCU, InVEST board chair and principal of Antalek & Moore, an independent agency located in Beacon, New York. “With over 60% of the insurance industry’s employees over the age of 45 and the need to find new talent becomes more apparent each year, we are confident these three individuals will further assist in achieving and implementing InVEST’s mission."
Heather Minkler, CEO and owner of Clark-Mortenson Agency, an independent insurance agency serving northern New England since 1877, oversees the management team and directs all marketing, human resources and strategic planning of her company. Prior to her 26 year stint with Clark-Mortenson, Minkler spent time at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. Minkler holds a bachelors degree from Middlebury College and is a Certified Insurance Counselor.
Neal Montgomery is a Director of Field Management for Travelers Insurance headquartered in Hartford, Connecticut, an insurance company offering a wide variety of property and casualty insurance and surety products and services to businesses, organizations and individuals in the United States and in selected international markets. Employed with Travelers for 35 years, Montgomery handles Travelers agency contracting, compensation and spearheads the company’s relationship building programs. Montgomery earned his bachelors degree from the University of Connecticut and is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.
Lorraine (Lori) Siegworth is Chief Strategy and Organization Effectiveness Officer of the State Auto Insurance Companies, a regional property and casualty insurance group operating in 33 states headquartered in Columbus, OH. Siegworth directs the State Auto Group’s human resources management, corporate communications, associate training, organizational development, benefits/compensation administration and is a key member of the companies’ strategic planning and critical change initiatives. Prior to joining State Auto, Siegworth served in a variety of executive roles at the corporate level and for Nationwide Global Holdings and performed multiple strategic and operations management roles for Sprint Corporation. Siegworth holds both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Bowling Green State University.
