2010 Legislative Conference Features Inaugural Casino Event and Scholarship Auction

11.24.2009 - Put on your poker face and get ready for one of the premier insurance events of the year! The Young Agents Committee (YAC) is hosting an event titled YAC Gives Back: A Benefit for InVEST Scholarships at the 2010 Big “I” Legislative Conference & Convention. This casino-themed party will include the annual InVEST silent auction that has been a highlight of past conventions.

To ensure this event is a jackpot and raises top dollar for the InVEST Student Scholarship Fund, the Big “I” is asking for donations for silent auction items. Donors’ names will appear in the silent auction catalog, on event signage and on the Big “I” and InVEST Web sites. The Big “I” is thrilled by the response it has received from past auction participants and appreciates state associations’ consideration in making a tax-deductible donation to the auction and publicizing the event among members. To make the process even easier, this year’s donations may be made by filling a simple online form available here. All funds raised by the auction will be awarded to students through scholarships.
