The InVEST State Champions Workshop is a program developed to teach members of the independent agency system how to launch and maintain successful InVEST programs. InVEST is a one-of-a-kind program that educates high school and college students on insurance, financial services and risk management. As a 501(c)3 educational foundation, InVEST fuels the future of the independent agency system by developing a diverse pool of future insurance professionals. InVEST teaches real-life skills. Current InVEST State Champions will share how they have been successful in launching the InVEST program in local schools. Discover tried and true techniques for involving the teaching community and how you can use this opportunity to promote workforce development for the insurance industry by attracting and training the next generation of insurance professionals.

Who Should Attend?

State association staff, independent agents, insurance carrier staff, educators and anyone who wants to increase the number of young people entering the insurance industry.

What Will I Learn?

This workshop is a comprehensive overview of the InVEST mission and goal as well as the tools and resources available. Future volunteers and state leaders gain valuable insight from representatives of successful InVEST programs throughout the nation.

All attendees will be provided with complimentary hotel accommodations, meals and recreation at Westfield Insurance. Transportation will be provided to and from the Cleveland (CLE) and Akron-Canton (CAK) airports.

About Westfield Insurance Blair Center

The Westfield Group Country Club & Pavilion in Westfield Center, Ohio, boasts two challenging 18-hole golf courses as well as a tennis and swim club. The Blair center, host of the workshops and social functions, offers beautiful surroundings and a warm and friendly atmosphere. A variety of exciting activities including clay shooting at the Hill ‘n Dale Club and a tour of the Rock and Roll hall of fame will be offered to those who want to connect with other attendees before the scheduled workshops.
