Why should I become an InVEST Corporate Partner? InVEST Addresses Industries Top Three Concerns A recent McKinsey & Company report on "Building a Talent Magnet- How the Property & Casualty Industry Can Solve Its People Needs" indicated three challenges in attracting high quality talent: · a poor reputation, · a limited understanding among high school and college students of the industry’s career opportunities, · a limited pool of trained talent. InVEST is working to make a difference in these three areas. By working with educators at both the high school and college level, InVEST offers FREE classrooms materials and instructional guidance to schools to bring insurance into the classroom. Insurance professionals volunteer their time to go into the classroom and share stories about our industry increasing student awareness and appreciation for the value the insurance industry brings in restoring business and individuals lifestyle after a loss. A Student Center ( www.learninsurance.org ) helps students learn about career opportunities and helps them to locate a college or online classes where they can increase their knowledge. The Insurance Career Center ( www.insurancecareercenter.org ) provides internships and full-time employment for these students. Students can post their resume, get assistance in putting a resume together, and receive emails when their dream job becomes available. For employers the internship postings are FREE and there are low-cost postings of full-time positions and ability to become a featured employer with link directly to company job board. InVEST is working to help students to find the opportunities within the insurance industry and easy to locate colleges, internships, and full-time employment to fulfill those dreams. Scholarships are provided to InVEST graduates to pursue a career in insurance. Nearly $400,000 has been distributed as scholarships in the past ten years and in 2010 $56,500 will be awarded. InVEST graduates are the next generation of professionals for your company and for our industry. Your contribution is not simply a donation; it is an investment in the future of the insurance industry. Sponsor Levels A 501 (c)(3) educational trust, InVEST relies solely on tax-deductible contributions and this financial support determines the program’s ability to grow. InVEST and companies share a common goal—to secure the future of the insurance industry—and your partnership is crucial to InVEST’s success. Levels of sponsorship are recognized as follows: Valedictorian $15,000 and greater Salutatorian $7,500 to $14,999 Honor Roll $2,500 to $7,499 Contributions of less than $2,500 are also very much appreciated.
