Become a Sponsor

Our industry is in a competitive struggle to attract the best and brightest young talent to work at our companies and agencies. Finding new talent is a challenge, but you can benefit directly from the industry’s only recruitment program – InVEST.

Consider the following:

  • InVEST students often tell their instructors they’re surprised at the many career opportunities they have within the insurance industry and agree that the practical experience gained through InVEST is extremely beneficial.
  • Currently serving more than 235 high schools and community colleges across the country with an in-depth and hands-on curriculum, InVEST is committed to spreading the message about careers in the insurance industry, graduating knowledgeable insurance consumers and providing a higher level of trained employees to our agency and company partners.
  • Many InVEST graduates go on to careers in insurance, and some are celebrating more than 25 years in the industry!

We are fully committed to graduating a large pool of qualified and diverse industry recruits and welcome the opportunity for you to partner with us in this endeavor. InVEST is a 501(c) 3 educational trust funded solely through contributions, and your investment is tax-deductible. For more information on how you can support InVEST contact Bill Pierson, Executive Director at bill.pierson@iiaba.net

If Your Organization Is an InVEST Sponsor...

On behalf of the InVEST Board of Directors (pdf), thank you for your contribution. Without the financial support of a growing family of more than 30 insurance carriers, independent agencies and brokers, InVEST would not be what it is today-the only educational program of its kind that prepares students to assume entry-level positions within the insurance industry.

Sponsors of InVEST are encouraged to get involved in local programs by hosting job shadow events, offering internships and becoming classroom liaisons. Here you will find the tools you need to get even more involved in InVEST:

  • Get all the information you need to run a successful job shadow event from the experts at the National Job Shadow Coalition.
  • Staffing issues continue to be a major challenge for independent agencies and one way to address these issues is to develop a quality internship program. Internships can be a source of low cost, temporary labor and a recruiting tool for permanent employees. Click here for this useful Internship Guide.
  • Liaison’s Guide to Starting InVest    - This guide, our High School Step-by-Step guide, was prepared by our Agent Task Force and combines the knowledge and expertise of agents and brokers who have been involved with  InVEST.
  • Community College Step-by-Step Guide (coming soon) - Features include a curriculum for a four-year degree and a description of the course.
  • Teacher’s Guide to Starting InVEST  - This guide is a culmination of information about InVEST from the perspective of experts – our teachers!
