InVEST State Champions Development Workshop

InVEST recently hosted a three day conference at the Westfield Companies in Westfield Center, Ohio. The event was attended by approximately 100 insurance company representatives, agents, educators, and state and national trade association staff from 22 states who participated in a comprehensive program that explored all the myriad facets of the InVEST program, and how it has been customized and successfully implemented throughout the country.

A full agenda of presentations, breakout groups, and workshops addressed not only what InVEST is, but specifically the challenges and opportunities that arise in starting a new program, or maintaining an existing one. Presentations were made by Applied, AMS, Artizan Internet Services, the Insurance Institute of America (IIA), St. John’s University School of Risk Management, Clarion University, Virtual Enterprise International, and the Insurance Education Institute (IEI), as well as agents and company personnel that have had tremendous success with InVEST.
