Get Involved with IIANC Young Agents
The IIANC Young Agents are an active, dynamic group, and we encourage all Young Agents in your agency to get involved in the Young Agents’ many activities and projects.

  • Events – IIANC hosts events specifically for Young Agents. These are great places to network with other Young Agents and company representatives to find markets and build valuable relationships.
         - Young Agents Conference
         - Young Agents Sales & Leadership Conference

  • Political Involvement - Young Agents in North Carolina are more politically active than anywhere else in the country. Our Young Agents raise more money for our Political Action Committees (PAC's) than most states raise from their entire membership. Young Agents are encouraged to participate in both InsurPAC and NC Small Business PAC and attend our association’s legislative events.
         - National IIABA Legislative Conference in Washington, DC

  • Community Service Projects - IIANC Young Agents are continuously involved with a service project to help our community or industry. Past projects include a scholarship endowment for insurance majors at UNC-Charlotte and raising $70,000 to build a Habitat for Humanity House in Wake County.

  • Recruitment & Development - Young Agents are active in the search for new employees in the industry. To assist with this need, Young Agents are encouraging the introduction of insurance education in our high schools and community colleges. Young Agents are also involved in career recruitment programs at North Carolina universities with insurance majors.
