IIABA provides its members with a united voice in advocating for policies and rules that best serve the insurance-buying public. Its staff and volunteer experts are well respected by the regulators, company executives and rating and advisory organizations that work with them on these critical issues.

  Technical Advocacy

Through the IIABA Technical Affairs Committee, IIABA is a well-respected resource and unrelenting advocate for members and consumers with respect to the property and casualty insurance products that our members sell and service. The Committee advocates on behalf of members and consumers with industry advisory organizations such as ISO, NCCI, AAIS, and many others.  As well, the IIABA Technical Affairs Committee also acts as a resource to state associations to promote and support an agent’s grass roots network in order to work effectively with state insurance regulators.
