Each ACT member serves on the Governing Council along with the members of the ACT Committee. The Governing Council determines the positions taken by ACT, the initiatives it undertakes, and the reports it issues. The Governing Council typically meets in person three times a year—in January/February time frame, in May at the front end of the ACORD Conference, and in the September/October time frame. There is also frequent email communication between ACT and the members of the Governing Council.
