InVEST Introduces New Board Members
Alexandria, Va., Sept. 2, 2010 - InVEST, the insurance industry's premier classroom to career education program, recently announced the following three new members to its national board: Joey O'Connor, CIC, vice president of Insurance Underwriters Ltd.; Richard E. Top Insurance Industry Executives to Address Young Agents Big "I" Leadership Institute Presidents' Panel
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 17, 2010 - The Big "I" has announced the insurance carrier panel of presidents and executives for the annual Young Agents Big "I" Leadership Institute. Participating carriers include Fireman's Fund, The Hartford, MetLife and Progressive Insurance.

Big "I" Calls on Congressional Leaders to Repeal Burdensome IRS Form 1099 Provision
WASHINGTON, D.C., Aug. 12, 2010 - The Big "I" sent a letter to Congressional leaders urging the repeal of a provision in the new health care law that will require all businesses to file a Form 1099 for any business-to-business transaction for goods or services over $600 (cumulative throughout the tax year) starting in 2012.
